Are there any cards that offer 10 percent or more off the fist purchase?

Going to order a plasma tv , so could do with as good a discount as i can get.

any reccomendations?

The only suggestion I have is to consider a store card (I know!) as some of them offer 10% off a first purchase - obviously though you would have to pay off the balance ASAP, and probably buying at a store like that means you'd (probably) pay an inflated price anyway. Alternatively, have a look through QUIDCO, and you might be able to get some cashback on a tracked purchase that way.

cheers, ive found the tv i want chepaest at microdirect, and they are doing 3.5 percent back on quidco so ill do that. Just waiting for my replacement citibank card first now, as they offer an extended 12 month warranty on purcahses. Very handy for an expensive electrical purchase!

The M&S &More card used to (still does???) offer a discount on the first purchase the day it was taken out if when applying for the card in store.
