From reading Martins stuff on accounts I know that my daughter can open her student account before she starts but can she open it with nothing. She has not applied for her student loan yet. I really want to get it done here, locally before she goes.
Also she has a Nationwide flex account, not in use, does she need to declare this? I made her open it when she turned 18 so she could have wages paid into it. In the meantime she has avoided any work that might involve having any money being paid into her account!
