Got a batch of these rising overnight from piglet6's recipe. Unfortunately the recipe doesn't make many buns. Oh dear, what a pity, I'll just have to make some more!
By the way, does the egg matter? I'd like to make some for my colleagues but a couple of them are vegan and the egg is about the only thing I can't substitute.0 -

I really shouldn't read these threads at this time of the day, it plays havoc with my sugar cravings. Yesterday teatime it was Belgian buns, today I am salivating at the thought of Chelsea buns covered in cinnamon and nibbed sugar....Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Hope is not a strategy...A child is for life, not just 18 years....Don't get me started on the NHS, because you won't win...I love chaz-ing!

I can't say I'd recommend either, maybe some soya milk will do the trick? Your vegan colleagues will be used to missing out, pastries will be something that's not on their radar. Perhaps buy them some fruit instead?
