NatWest transfer question

I have a question on transferring money with NatWest and I'm hoping for some advice: What would the fastest method of transferring a large sum of money from a NatWest account to an internet account such as Egg internet saver? I understand that I can transfer the money via direct debit which is done immediately but limited to £5k per day and BACS is limited to £10k and takes 3 business days to complete. Is it faster to pay via Direct Debit @ £5k per day combined with a BACS payment and would the BACS payment and DD combined cause a problem of the maximum daily limit being reached?
Or is it faster to transfer by cheque instead?
TIA

£40k
large to me :P 0 -
Action a DD pull on, say, Monday for £20K
Initiate £10K FPs from NatWest on Monday and Tuesday.
Egg balance:
Monday.........£10K
Tuesday........£20K
Wednesday....£40K
Probably the optimum way?0
