Spanish lottery scam?

In this mornings' post we received a final award notification from a company
called El-Gordo spanish lottery based in Madrid.0034940462601.
Unsure if it is 1.50eur per minute but we won't be ringing.
Whilst we did go to Malaga at Christmas, and visited Benalmadena where the
item seems to be posted from,we never gave our address or played any type
of gambling whilst we were away and never have.

It asks for bank account details to be given for the cash to be deposited.

Has anyone received similar?

Thanks Soolin Found it

It's probably the most common scam doing the rounds at the moment, do a Google search on Spanish lottery scam to see how it works.

If you've received an award notification, you must have entered the lottery (yeah, right).

    If you didn't, it's a scam.

If you did, how did they get your e-mail address and, in any case, why do they not just send you a cheque?
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
