Hi I recently opened a Coop cashminder account, its absolutely fine for what I need As I want to put what ever I'm left with each week up for any unforseen things and money for birthdays etc I tried opening a savings account with them but was declined:mad: I phoned them up to request that they manually overturned it but they said they couldn't but could open another cashminder account for me
,went through the application process and was again referred .Phoned up on day three to be told it had been successfull but they needed proof of my address no branches near me so need to send in a certified copy of proof. What does it need to have written on it by the person who is certifying it? Any help gratefully recieved
Paul Walker , in my dreams;)

You may find it easier to send an original document from their list, e.g. utility bill or Inland Revenue letter.

Certified to be a true copy of the original.0

when I've had things certified I've gone to my local bank (doesn't matter if you don't have an account - or at least it never had with me) with a photocopy and the original and asked them to certify it. They've always just stamped and signed the photocopy which seems to have been enough for everyone I've needed to provide certified copies of things to.0
