Morning all.
Still smiling despite a summer cold. Didn't quite manage my NSD yesterday (needed cold remedy so I could concentrate at work) but I matched what I spent with an extra payement to the OD:A
Claire - sorry to hear about Wongy. As for the jewellery - a couple of pieces of plain velvet type fabric stretched over a board or in a picture frame with no glass (might possibly have something that suits) would be least detracting and you could have a coule of different colours to help the beads stand out...
Pay day today, a good £150 more than I was expecting so will be making required payments, setting some aside to go shopping and lobbing the rest into the OD bucket:D

Morning Luc and those who follow
Lovely to hear you sounding to positive and upbeat Luc, work really does agree with you. How's N enjoying nursery?
DD2's birthday today so an early start opening pressies on our bed at 6am...she managed a nice haul with ten ton of "glee" stuff from us and £160 from relatives......I'm taking them to London next week so no doubt she'll manage to make a serious dent in that.
Lots to do today around the house but would like to pop out for an hour or so seeing as it's nice.....will talk DH into coffee at the beach.
Need to pay a cheque in from music magpie - then I can transfer it straight over to the debt pot....worked out earlier that we've cleared 78% of the debt in the past 15 months.
Hope you all have a great day."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -

Morning,
Could do with some of that fearlessness myself today. I've gotta drive to Boscastle this afternoon and I'm cacking myself. I've got no idea where we're going, I've just gotta follow my friend 'Tasha all the way. Which might be alright if she had her van but it's in for repairs so she's got a hire car. Which means it's not as visible and it goes a lot faster than my car. I'm probably worrying about nothing, I'll have other friends in my car to direct me, I'm just really nervous.

Good morning!
I'm fairly new to the forum, first post was yesterday, but thought I would say hi on here
I've read through quite a few posts yesterday and this morning, and have decided on my plan of action. I've decided which debts to snowball, and have taken on board the idea of rounding my bank account down to the nearest £10 every Friday, starting today. It's the first steps, but I'm hoping to have all this paid off by my 30th birthday, though I know that if I pull myself together I can do it by my 29th, which would be a really nice present to myself::: Total Paid Since LBM (27/05/10): £4639.85 Official Debt Gone!! :T ::::AThat money talks, I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"~ VSP2011: #104 ~

Take a road atlas and mobile phones and you'll be fine. If need be write down a list of the roads and junctions. That's what I used to do with the motorbike and stick it to the petrol cap.
