Yes, sending lots of love and support your way. Hope it's been cathartic for you..
If this helps, I went to a seminar a few years back by a woman called Brandon Bays. She travels the world showing people how to gain access to trapped emotions in the body (from past events) and set them free. It's very powerful and the reason i'm mentioning this is because alot of people were there because they also had been abused by family members and were wanting to put it behind them. Her website is https://www.thejourney.com
Hope this helps

Hi Lavender Lily, I too think you are incredibly brave to share this story. I say this because I have some idea of how you feel because I have something similar in my past which I have never told anyone about and never will. I have good reasons for this but I am glad you have brought this out in the open as its probably the best thing you can do to cure yourself. It has taken me a lifetime and Im still a bit damaged but basically happy. Something like this completely destroys your childhood and haunts adolescence so I am not surprised you have problems but eventually you will come to terms with it and move on.The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0

I wasn't your fault, main point to remember. Love yourself, be kind to yourself choose now to have a good life.
Sending you a hug and thinking about you, take care.Women and cats will do as they please and men and dogs should get used to it.;)
Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.

You are on the way to dealing with all of this by being able to share it and be honest about how you feel.
Emotions are tied in with spending and i hope you get the support you need to deal with the cycle you find yourself in.
Lots of hugs to you :A0 -
Hugs from me too. This has clearly been very difficult for you to deal with - I remember in your other thread you couldn't pinpoint anything, but clearly there was something, and of course, we now know something really traumatic.
Please do contact a group for survivors of abuse. It's particularly difficult for people who've been abused by a member of their family, because as you've felt, they love and hate the person at the same time. If possible, let go of the hate, as it can't affect him, but will affect you. It was an awful experience, one that none of us would wish on anyone, but it's over, he's dead, and you have the rest of your life to live, and live happily, we hope. At least you have never had to deal with the possibility of your children suffering at his hands as you did. I do feel that contacting one of the groups above might help you achieve some sort of closure, so you can make peace with yourself and move on.0 -
