Non endorsable 30 pound fine - do I have to tell insurance company?

Hi all,
A couple of years ago I got a 30 pound non endorsable fine (no points) for going up a "for access only" road. I held my hands up and paid it straight away and had completey forgotten about it.
However I was just coming up for my renewal and I was filling in an online quote and it just struck me that this can also be called a "Fixed Penalty Notice" and there are questions about that (That I always answer "No" to).
Am I suppose to declare this? I see it asks for a date and an "offence code" neither of which I can remember.
Any opinions would be appreciated.

If the question just asks if you have had any fixed penalties, then it should be declared.
It can't make much of a difference (if any) to the premium, and better to be safe than sorry should you need to make a claim in the future.0 -
I don't know the answer, but is it shown on the paper part of your driving licence? If so I would imagine you do. If not then I would imagine it's the same as a parking ticket and you wouldn't have to declare it. Just my guess though.Changing the world, one sarcastic comment at a time.0

I wasn't required to send my driving license off or anything. I was literally handed it by a Traffic cop on the way to work and I paid it when I got there. I think it is regarded like a parking offence (hopefully). I don't want to ring the Insurance if I don't have to (seeing as it happened a couple of years ago and I have to admit I'd forgotten about it and didn't declare it for the last two years) and give them the opportunity to put my premium up.0
