Anyone know any good offers on breakdown cover at the minute?
I really should get some sorted as planning a lot more distance travelling in the next 12 months. Usually only really drive local to home and know plenty of people who could tow me back if anything drastic happened!

do you have a tescos/asda type card? they use to do good deals on breakdown cover (i get mine with my insurance so you could try them)If you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -

check out martins tips - Cash back is always the best way for breakdown cover, i got my RAC for free last year with an rpoints cashback bonus of £30 which was more than my annual cover cost!
thats not available this year, but the AA one on now is less than a tenner!!It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

I like the look of Autoaid - and would go with them if I didn't have cover that was provided as part of the warranty package with my car.0

Tesco Clubcard points. 4x face value as a clubcard deal so £30 worth of vouchers gets you £120 worth of cover with the RAC.0

Hi - just a thought but cheapest is not always best! Just tried to join the AA using a special promotion and they took the money by Direct Debit and didn't send any membership details through. When I tried to chase they couldn't find any record even though I had a membership number and they had actually taken the money. After they refused to help I got a refund under the Direct Debit Guarantee Scheme (full marks to RBS One Account for the way they processed this) and I have now joined the RAC. Personally I would avoid the AA at all costs at the moment as they seem to have admin problems and without doubt the worst customer service team I have ever experienced. You don't want to be stuck by the side of the road only to find they don't believe you're a member!0
