Accessing email when away

I have about 8 email accounts under different providers due to work and other things that i access all under windows mail. I have just bought a notebook for when i am traveling home and abroad which will not be often. Is there a web programme that will let me access my mail on my netbook without setting up all my accounts on my netbook as i do not want to get confused what mail i've answered and what i haven't.

  • You could maybe try go to my pc (www.gotomypc.com) or something similar. My BIL uses this when he's away to access his work computer. You are basically working on your home computer, but using the netbook as a 'port' (don't know if that's the correct terminology).

You set it up on both pc's/laptops, then just log in when you're away. So long as you're happy to leave your computer switched on at home you can access everything on your computer.

Don't know if this is the kind of thing you're looking for, but it does the job!
Common sense just isn't that common any more....

You can get Googlemail/Gmail to collect mail from different accounts, so they will all arrive in your Gmail inbox.

I've personally stopped using my PC based Email client and just only use "Google Mail".
I pick up 2 work related and 3 personal ones (ISP and Hotmail) all go into Gmail and i've got them labeled and organised.

You can set it to download your mail to a local version of the Gmail page, so you can type replies even when offline.
