Suddenly my laptop screen has got very l o n g :eek: how in heavens name do I reduce it back to normal size again:mad: had a quick fiddle but need an expert ( or someone with a younger brain than mine) to tell me how

Laptop is an Acer aspire 5315

Not sure when you say "long screen" Can you elucidate a little more ?
Screen resolution has changed perhaps.

Try Ctrl + 0

or go to Start > Control Panel > click on Appearance and Personalisation > Click on Personalisarion < Display Settings

Then change it there, where it says Resolution Low-High
