ESA does not "run out".
People can fail the WCA and be found fit for work but there is not a time limit on ESA like there is for conts based JSA.0 -

She could claim to be your carer but you would have to be in receipt of DLA. And she couldnt earn more than £95 per week. So that rules her out on both.
Income support is for lone parents and sick/disabled, so again you would need to be in receipt of DLA0 -

Easy

You tell DWP that you are going to appeal and fill in a GL24 form which has to be in within a month of the decision date. (You should request all the medical reports from the DWP at the same time.)
As soon as that's sent off and processed ESA payments should resume at the assessment rate (the one you were on before). Although I'm seeing a few posts here saying you may have to request that it is paid?
You now use their reports and your own medical reports etc and build your case for the tribunal.
Depending on the tribunal work load you will receive a date for it (average wait is 6 months could be sooner could be later).
Best advice is don't dilly dally & get in touch with a local welfare rights advisor or DIAL and enlist their help in the preparation A.S.A.P. There's loads of
advice on the web to.
You may also be entitled to DLA (that's a may) if you think you are then you have to enlist welfare rights help with the application. As any information regarding your ESA claim can and will be used as evidence with your DLA claim and vice versa.
Other than that good luck :T0 -

or perhaps you could accept that they have deemed you fit to work and start building towards getting some kind of job, maybe part time a few hours a week to begin with...0

How can your wife be your carer when she is out of the house working full time?
Who cares for you then? I do echo what the other posters are saying, how about part time work to help you ease back into the workforce.Be happy, it's the greatest wealth

Not every disabled person needs care 24/7. For some, it's just an hour here and an hour there.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
