Rubbish PC - What rights do I have
Comments
-
In july 2009 I bought a PC from PC world.
It's been nothing but trouble.
Every time it reboots I need to put the recovery disk in becasue it says "Boot failure- can't find hard drive"
I've put up with it so far but enough is enough.
I haven't contacted them at all about this so far.
Am I within my rights to go back and ask for a full refund since it is less than 1 year since I bought it or is it more complicated than that?
Sorry you have had problems with your PC. I suffered the same fate. As a result, I made a vow that I would never again buy anything from PC World. It was a nightmare.
Good luck!0 -
Another victim of pc world here, had a nightmare a few years ago with a pc that never worked properly from day one. After months of them repairing and taking it back and forth the shop I refused to leave until they refunded my money.
Good luck I hope they sort it for you.0 -
Make sure you clear your internet history and clear cookies and saved passwords etc, keep a note of passwords or maybe export all those settings before clearing it all. I wouldn't trust PCW with a PC with any kind of banking info etc on it0
