Pension Credit Guarantee and Attendance Allowance

I am in receipt of a Pension and Pension Credit Guarantee. This is due to be reviewed in October.
I have been advised to apply for Attendance Allowance.
Would this affect my Pension Credit Guarantee?
Hoping someone can clarify this for me! :)

It will only affect you by giving you more GPC if you live alone and no-one claims Carers Allowance for looking after you.

    Simple answer is no.

If anything, you may be a little better off, as there are knock on effects on other benefits in terms of premiums.

    Hope this helps
