Does anyone know when you give WFTC your earnings for the year do you include any expenses. i.e milage

I just give my actual earnings for CTC - I don't get WTC. I phoned up a couple of years ago to ask, and was told to deduct any expenses paid, just to give actual salary. Hope this helps.0
