Readings:

E = 280
G = 1923.80
I = 11.95

On rate 1 on prepayment meter.

We have a bill for £124.32

We are moving out of the property 12/06/2010 (they don't know this yet) and have been told that this debt is to go on the meter but we are still waiting.

I have found out online that we can do the whole moving out stuff from their site which is excellent as neither of us are the named aco!!!! holder (long story).

How come as we are on a prepaymeter do we have a bill? Haven't we paid enough onto the meter?

    Hi debrag

    I would suggest contacting us to discuss the account and find out why you have this outstanding balance. Also, we will pursue the account holder for any outstanding balance when the account is finalised. You may wish to discuss this matter with the account holder and agree on a resolution, if the outstanding balance is due.

    If my memory serves me right, the outstanding balance is for gas/electricity not paid for prior to the prepayment meter being installed. If the debt recovery rate has not been set on the meter then this balance will still be due for payment.

    Make sure that you make a note of the meter reading when you move out of the property and provide this reading to us to ensure we only charge for gas/elec used while you were occupying the property.

    Let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards
