    what would you recommend then hethmar? I was tempted to go for my 4th and last 306 and get a Gti-6 :j

    i just did a insurance quote for a 2000 X Peugeot 306 Gti 6 and it came out at £600.00 so same as above. Now the cars older but lot cheaper to buy a good one with around 90K on clock at £2K to £2.3K but likely to need repairs more often and only does at best 30mpg if driven lightly, but whats the point in that! lol

    I'm going to suggest a Mazda 6, if you go for diesel make sure you get a face lifted model with the improved engine.
    Petrol power suits these cars well, nice raspy exhaust note to go with with it's moderately sporty character.
    If you want something quicker try the MPS version, the 2.3 Sport is pretty good too.
    Certainly worth a look along side other Mondeo rivals.
