Plas Coch Anglesea Zoo

Can anyone remember when Plas Coch had a zoo and can you give me any links to it esp. the lions and animals they kept there

I remember the zoo at Plas Coch. We went there every year, and the zoo would have been there for a few years in the mid to late 1980`s. There was at least one lion, and a tiger. I remember waking up and hearing them roaring in the morning! Of couse the peacocks always screamed before and after the zoo was there. A friend of mine was there last week and the peacocks and the cockrel have been rehomed now as they woke up the whole site at daybreak, and the site is more upmarket now. We have a caravan at GlanGwna at Caernarfon now so are still nearby.
