child tax credit advice

can any one help with child tax credit i have had two provisonal awards pending the final amouts of last yr ...... since then had a letter from compliance section asking for proof of my other benefits i am on dla like my son so sent proof

Not fussy at all. HMRC are just trying to confirm they award you what you are entitled to.
There are so many people who would falsly claim to be disabled / have children / work X no of hours etc etc to get extra benefits.
Just as there are many people who dont realise or think they should claim for these things.
They need to make sure the right money goes to the right people. Hence the proof.0
