Thinking of going to Morroco this year but do not know much about it or any one who has been. Can anyone give any advice

Went to Marrakesh 3 years ago and stayed in a traditional Riad (sp?) within walking distance of the souks. It's a fabulous place and we can't wait to back. A week - 10 days should be plenty. Nice short flight too.YOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)

Is it a safe place to go out and about sight seeing. Was looking at Agadir.0 -
Marrakesh is real Morroco, Agadir is Blackpool with sun for tourists .
Agadir round the hotels and beach is ok but the usual harassment from traders and spivs. The Souk in Agadir is well away from the tourist area and has a bad feel, I would not enter it again without an armed guard !

I love Agadir. We go at least three times a year. The people are very nice. And we have made lots of friends. Yes there are people begging but you get them here as well. I have never felt threatened in the souk either. You just have to remember that it is a different culture from us.:beer: monlchr :beer:0
