The EPG.
You'd get the HD channels BBC HD and ITV1 HD (the latter only if you live in England or Wales.

UTV being owned by STV, and STV owning the licence to broadcast in Scotland and NI - ITV has the contract for England and Wales. STV reckon they'll have their HD channel 'soon'. Pretty cack if you ask me. In the mean time you can tune to channel 977 (ITV London) and if the program is HD, you can press the red button to get it. Problem is that you're missing out on everything else being upscaled, and the SD ITV broadcast is particularly poor so it would be a big advantage.
Freesat has the standardised (and very good) EPG as mentioned above, but also includes net connectivity, so you can get iPlayer for now and other stuff in the future.0
