Thanks Uncertain thats pretty much what I thought as I wasn't on Disciplinary or anything at the time and there has been no gross misconduct involved then surely they can't just terminate my contract with no notice! You would think they'd be gratefull it was my last pay rather than paying me for months not t be there on the sick eh lol0

Ooops too late.0 -
Very constructive thank you........
It is now 11 days since the grievance hearing (the policy states I will have a response in 10 days)
I have emailed them to chase this up and been advised 'I will recieve a response when it is practical'

Providing there is still time within the 3 months I would write to them (preferably recorded delivery) giving a date (no more than 7 days) to reply failing which you will file an ET claim. Mark the letter clearly "Letter before action". Do make sure you do not run out of time (this is probably what they are hoping)!0 -
is it possible to start ET process without doing this as I am rapidly running out of time now x0

Yes.
Don't under any circumstances run out of time!0 -
Thank You I might just do that now if I can fill the form out online0
-
Yes, don't delay your claim.
You could submit your ET claim now and then chase your employer up regarding your grievance.
You can note in your ET1 thatyour employer hasn't responded to your grievance within the time limits stated in their policy.
As Uncertain indicated, your employer could be delaying thier response in the hope that you will be out of time to claim.0 -
Thank you both, I feel a bit more connfident that I am in the right after the response I've had to my OP so I shall try t fill the ET1 on now.........fingers crossed it might be the push they need0
