Am I paying PPI

in Credit cards
I have a Halifax Gold Visa credit card that I have had since 2001, Normally I keep the balance very low on it and pay it off each month. However recently for various reasons I have had to use the card quite a lot and at the moment am only paying the minimum amount. When I had a low balance on it I didn't really bother to study the statement and just payed whatever I owed (Yes I know that is quite a stupid thing to do!) Now I have a large balance on it I have noticed I am getting charged a lot for 'Repayment Cover' is this a PPI? On my current balance the Repayment Cover is approx £100 per month. I certainly never asked for PPI and I have never (knowingly) taken it out on any other credit agreement. When I took out the credit card I was self employed so it would have been of limited use anyway.

Hi and welcome
Your monthly statements should also include details of any ppi if your paying on this.
You could though (if the account is still active) write to request for a copy of the Credit Agreement, enclose a £1 postal order or cheque paymentm and request they supply by 12 days.
Remember to include the account number - so they can track this down.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
