Hey everyone
Got the call but unfortunately I didn't get the job. I couldn't ask for feedback because I was on the verge of tears. Could only manage "Thank you, goodbye". Feel like a loon. And you know what the only thing I can think of doing is coming on here and telling you guys. My partner is at work. I feel like such a failure. Am not very good at not being wanted if you know what I mean. I just want to get on and pay my debts off. I feel so hopeless. I have been rejected for so many jobs in Manchester - what am I doing wrong? I research the organisations, read their literature, study books like 'Great answers to tough interview questions', look around the organisations beforehand if I can, spend hours writing applications, look smart and presentable. It's a f***ing joke and I am just so upset.
Sorry to moan everyone - just wanted to let it out!

I am just crying. I figure it is best just to let it all out."Debt makes plans for you" - A quote from my friend Catherine. How true!0 -

Oh Annie, its a horrible feeling isn't it? (((hugs)))
I know exactly what you mean about feeling unwanted! You have to try not to let it get to you too much though... once you've got over the first miserable feeling... there could be any number of reasons why they didn't offer it to you but it does not make you a bad person!
When will your partner be home? You need a hug and someone to tell you how great you are - restore a bit of self-confidence. Maybe in a day or two, when you feel more composed, you'll feel up to calling them and asking for some feedback. Good feedback can make you realise it wasn't a rejection of you as such and some (constructive) criticism can hopefully give you something to work on.
Try not to be too hard on yourself... I'm sorry there's not more to say really! Have some more (((hugs))) on me!
