Simply Loans Direct/ Southern Pacific Personal Loans - starting to claim

Hi
I have had 1 loan and 1 mortgage with SPPL. On both they charged me PPI. I was told this was on as would guarantee my mortgage and loan would go through.
Can I claim both back?

1. Mortgage £50k, PPI £6500

2. Loan 25K, PPI £3500

I repaid both off early and got no rebate back from insurance as both were lumps I paid at start which was added to loan/mortgage.

I have sent info off and awaiting replies.

Do you think I stand a chance here?

    Hello there

If mis sold and also no rebate give it a go.

I would though in regards of the mortgage ppi post this in another thread within this reclaiming section where Dunstonh and/or MagpieCottage will be able to help and advise on this one, not sure if different rules apply with mortgage ppi to loan ppi reclaiming, although if you were mis sold for any reason then I can't see why not.

Basically what you do here is pursue to whoever set this up for you.
The Financial ombudsman service (FOS) have recently issued Questionnaires to use instead of template letters.
You will find the FOS questionnaire on the link below on Stage one of reclaiming, complete and keep copies in case you need to refer to it later on, they have 8 weeks in full to respond with a decision.

Hope this helps, ask for help anytime and good luck.;)
