Chief Rent and Ground Rent

My house is for sale and it is freehold, with chief rent of £5.00 per annum. The house across the road (same type, style, etc) is also for sale (similar price to mine) but their house is leasehold, with ground rent of £10.00 per annum.

Are there any advantages to being freehold as against leasehold (from a selling point of view) that I could use to push my house sale?
Any advice would be appreciated.

    Unlikely to make any difference. I bet the leasehold is the balance of 999 years so the difference between that and freehold is nothing. It's not like London where leases are only for 99 years and the like where it affects the value of the property once a few years have passed. And lenders get wary of anything less than about 65-75 years because of the potential value in 25 years time.
