Full Terms and Conditions sent after Booking

Hi,
I have just tried to cancel a hotel booking well in advance of the 48 hour policy that was stated when I booked the room. I made a copy of the ToC when the booking was made online and it states the following:
"A debit or Credit card is required to guarantee the reservation. A deposit of £50 will be charged to your account on completion of your booking. In the event of late cancellation or non arrival one nights accomodation will be charged to your card."
Their Cancellation Policy states:
"Cancellation policy is 48 hours to arrival" (thats all they said)
My emailed confirmation states nothing else. Now when I tried to cancel the hotel is claiming they will only pay back £40 as they will levy a £10 admin charge. I have phoned them to complain about this, they contested that it was in the ToC's they sent me after booking. So from what I can gather they didnt provide me with full details upon booking, and claimed to have sent more details after the booking was made - effectively changing the terms of our contract after I had paid my deposit. I am obviously not happy, not least as I havent received said details in the post - only an email confirmation.
They are sticking to their guns and me to mine. Im pretty sure I am in the right here. Can anyone offer any advice please. E.g. what can I do next.
PS: I know it is only £10 but thats a lot to someone on my wages.
