Hi guys,
looking to replace a clapped out old freestanding gas cooker and we were going to replace when refurbing with a built in oven and hob in the centre of a run of units. However a rather randomly placed gas meter has prevented this.
Therefore I am left with what I see as the only options at the moment. Option 1 Replacing freestanding gas cooker in same place however this is next to a small internal wall which is in fact the back of the utility cupboard which houses the boiler!!
Option 2 siting a built in oven & hob slightly off centre with the gas meter in a cabinet next to the oven.
Thus my question to all you knowledgable people out there is: Do gas cookers need to be kept a certain distance away from boilers, gas meters or walls?
Sorry guys I've tried googling but I keep getting random results.

Modern cookers can be built inbetween cupboards or against walls etc.
But to be certain, you need to check the installation instructions of the cooker you intend to buy.0
