You can do it via a USB stick.
Find/use another computer that has a CD drive and USB ports.
Put the CD and usb into the computer.
Go to my computer and right click the CD icon and select explore.
Click on the Tools menu and click on Folder Options, on the new window that opens, click on the view tab.
Then click on show hidden files and folders and pressOK.
Copy all the files on the CD to your USB drive (best put them in a folder called office or something.
Plug your USB into your netbook, open up the office folder and double click on a file called setup.exe.
It should start to install0 -
Hi there, if you have access to another pc with a disc drive, you could:-
> make an image of the disc using something like imgburn.
> This creates an .iso file. Copy this to your usb stick.
> download and install magiciso (this creates a virtual cd drive on your machine)
> pop your usb stick into the netbook and use magiciso to mount the .iso image stored on your usb stick
> the setup prog should start automatically
If this sound a bit complicated then crazy's idea should also work!Useful is beautiful0 -

Alternatively...
If you've another computer with a CD/DVD drive on the same network, right click on the drive in Explorer on that computer, select Sharing and share the drive. Insert the CD and any other computer on that network will be able to see the shared drive and access the CD.0
