Ive had a couple of sellers like this, I got fed up of reporting them and nothing happening from ebay too - luckily they were small fry by comparison
plus they are relatitory neggers, even if you left a neutral then bang neg in return
i still love ebay but have got more and more cautious over who i buy fromSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
It looks like they're back yet again under a new seller id and selling the same items they've conned people into paying for again.
Their new seller id is bigboystoys9468
Their previous one (where they got loads of negs was Trainworld2005).
Please can anyone report this to ebay - I have done a couple of times already - like last time, I reported them but ebay did nothing until nearly 20 people had been conned.
The items for sale (and recently sold) by bigboystoys9468 are remarkably similar to those sold by Trainworld2005 for which negs were left for non delivery - including
Mallard loco, Invincible loco, station buildings, signal motors, etc etc - look at the items for which they were neg'd and the list is remarkably similar to those sold and currently for sale.
If ebay get enough reports, surely they'll do something to stop these people?0 -
I'm not really sure this site should be used for getting revenge on dodgy sellers, you have reported them , i would leave it at that.

i think its a good idea, long believed that we should have a hit squad on here stopping these con merchants from operating. the problem is that nobody does nothing and they grow and grow.

Pennywise is not trying to get revenge but trying to stop these so called 'sellers' from ripping off people - I think it's a great thing she's doing and I admire the fact that she has obviously put alot of time into it.
I'll do whatever I can to help Pennywise.

if posts like these put off one scammer it is worthwhile.0

Hang on a second
the two sellers mentioned live in different parts of the country and also the active acount accepts paypal. Surely this seller has been tainted with the wrong brush

I thought you had to have a separate card to register each separate user id, I guess I must be wrong if this guy can keep registering new accounts?
It has been a while since I joined so I may be wrong...
It's also worthwhile sometimes to talk "live" to an Ebay person (although the service does seem to have been offline for a while now...):

I don't think so - if it is, it is one major coincidence that the same items are being sold - just look at the items recently sold and for sale and you'll see some of the same as those sold under the other user id - in particular the "invincible" locomotive which is rare and something that rarely comes onto ebay - there aren't any others on at the moment! Remember that the seller can put any location they like - who's to know which is right, same with Paypal, it's their choice but I suppose it limits the losses of future buyers as they can at least get their money back if paid through paypal. I think the balance of probabilities is as Pennywise says - the same people. Anyway, Ebay will presumably be able to check identical IP addresses and won't take action unless they're sure.0 -

True, but the seller doesnt know its here, and they havent been given a chance to defend themselves in any way.
If pennywise has had problems with a seller i agree that they should report it but asking others to join in when they themselves have had no problems with a seller seems wrong (to me
) especially when there is no evidence that this seller is the same person (they may live near original seller and purchased all their stock )
Perhaps the OP should contact the seller and point them towards this thread so they can at least see that people dont tolerate scamming and give them a chance to respond.
