Zantedeschia - arum lily advice?

I keep seeing these around and love them .. i want to buy one or two but i have no idea how to look after them .. i would like to put them in containers.. also what to do in winter time especialy after we winter we have had..?? Any top tips on what to do?

I had one in my pond for years and it flourished. It may still be there. I haven't looked since moving, as the last peek I had through the fence showed little growing in that area, other than docks!
