Aspergers diagnosis - what next?

Hi,
I have just received a diagnosis of aspergers and I was wondering if anyone had any idea what difference having an official diagnosis would make to my life? If I tell my employers (which I am probably going to have to do, as they already have issues with my poor communication skills), what are they obliged to do?
Just trying to get my head around it.
Thanks!

A diagnosis makes little difference in itself, although it does often make it easier to enforce your rights.
If you fall under the DDA, your employer has an obligation to make reasonable adaptations. Is there anything that your employer could to do assist you overcome the barriers you face?Gone ... or have I?0 -

Hi chem,
I was diagnosed with Asperger's in 2006 at the age of 33 & im only just starting to come to terms with it.
Look at the National Autistic Society's website as they have an abundance of useful information & also offer support.

Good luck.
