Just picked up the above at my local netto's, not bad considering they are about £8.99 elsewhere. I would be quick as there were not much left in the mitcham branch.

Thats a bargain, especially as that new law is about to come into effect, where children under 135cm(or is it 145) have to sit on them.
I already have some for my kids, would have gone and got some otherwise:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

No Netto's in Bristol, if anyone knows of a bargain in Bristol I'd be greatful.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

Hiya wondering if any other MSE peeps got there £2.99 booster seats at Netto today ?
I queued outside Netto to get the £2.99 booster seats for my car as the law changed today. When they opened the doors, there was a mad rush and complete chaos (similar to the Ikea 1p chairs). As I took 2 booster seats for the car, a man grabbed my wrist and tried to pull my hand away, resulting in bruises and scratches to my wrist (my workmates thought the kittens had got me !). Anyway, he stopped trying to get my one when he realised another box was just being put out.
At the tills it was limited to 2 per customer but I was shaking like a leaf when I paid and was completely and utterly amazed at how the people there behaved. It was sheer madness. They sold out in 5 minutes at my branch

Hi, I got one this morning, but I think it was one of the last few. Still, it seemed a bit more civilised than other peoples experiences, I didnt see anyone fighting over them, although the car park was packed out with people at 8.30 in the morning.:hello:  please play nicely children !0

Embarrased to say that I queued outside a Netto today! It was organised chaos, 2 boxes of 10 behind the checkout, one per person, pretty straightforward until after 5 minutes they opened a second till.
Everyone at the back of the queue realised they weren't going to get one stampeded to the other checkout.
This resulted in people who had queued properly missed out. Thankfully I got the last one.
halfords were £14 so a bargain, just hope no one saw me!0 -
Sometimes it would appear that the bargain hunter brings out the worst in people. In my store a queuing system would have been much better and much more organised and civil.
The complaint letter is in the post to the Manager regarding my experience today

Good for you Welshy - not sure it will do much good though as it appears that Netto exasperate the situation (if that's the right term) with their lack of readiness for the obvious chaos that they cause.0
