Does Lloyds TSB still use passbooks?

I had a passbook savings account with TSB years ago, and when Lloyds TSB was created in the 1990s I remember being given a rebranded passbook and told I could continue to use it as normal.
I've since closed the account, but was wondering: do Lloyds TSB still offer this service? I can't find any mention of it on their website, but does anyone know if branches still offer a passbook savings account or if passbook transactions can still be processed at LTSB branch counters?

All new savings accounts are statement based which means no passbooks. If you have an old TSB flexible savings/instant gold account, the passbook can still be used in branch.0

Any old account with LTSB pay 0.1% so ditch them ASAP. This apply to all passbooks accounts.
They no longer offer the passbooks any more for new accounts.0 -
But can the branches still update them and operate them? I.e. does the cashier still have a printer like TSB used to have which prints transactions in the books. I thought they may have done what Barclays did with Woolwich and ditch them altogether?0

If you have closed the old passbook account, like you say you have, then it's irrelevant to you whether they can still update passbooks or not. As explained above, no new passbook accounts can be opened, so you can't have another one.0

Ok, thanks for that. But I'd still like to know all the same.0
