sorry. didnt see your post until this morning. dont have the internet at home and can only use it when i am at my daughters.

she had a lot of debts that she was behind with but not the rent, housing benefit paidmost of that. utilities yes, so she had ameter put in and what ever she put on the meters was being eaten up by them taking a lump off to pay the debts.

her claim for charges was over 5k. and even still. now. after something like four years, abbey still havent suplied two years worth of statements that were missing from the initital request. we have asked for them so many times i have lost count. some months, when she was in her relationship, the charges were over 300 a month.
That needs to be chased up either directly or through the ICO
she just gave up. they really and truly, didnt give a monkeys. lost count of the times that forms had to be sent, sent and sent again because, they said, they didnt receive them, even though everything was always sent recorded. took up to 6 months just to so one simple thing. they are realy s***bags.
What is her current circumstances and we can work on sorting out some statements......
to premier; no she didnt because by then she had had enough but i wonder if it is worth starting again and bringing the FOS into the frame.

to any who answer this much belated post, i am back off home today so no internet until i get back here in a week. many thanks for all the advice give.xxx

Ok, I'll PM you to sort something out with regards to statements. I am not hopeful on this one due to the major priority arrears being up to date or being repaid.
I would look though at credit card/store card and/or catalogue charges.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
