A friend of mine who lives in Spain, was going to upload holiday photos to Photobucket. They are on a Dvd and cannot view them on the laptop. Is there a solution to this problem?

The message I have received is as follows -

".................for some reason they wont play on the laptop.we watched them all on the tv on sunday-about 300 of them!! but they are on a dvd-so maybe this is the reason.anyway,..............if you have any ideas, please let me know!!..........."

So do you think that they can't play any DVDs on their laptop?

Thanks for the reply. Yes they can, I have just had a word with them. The Dvd they have used was from the states, they were on the British Virgin Islands when their son downloaded photos from the camera to the Dvd. Could that be the problem, it did play on their Spanish tv though?

    Hi
I suppose that the photos on that DVD were watchable on the TV because their DVD player is capable of viewing JPEGs.

So to see the photos on their laptop they should use suitable software such as the 'Windows Picture and Fax Viewer' or 'Windows Photo Gallery' that are part of Windows.

Maybe other people will suggest better viewers too.
