Code in Key
I have an old banger Vauxhall Astra Merit M reg. I bout ght it second hand with 2 keys. Today it was being collected for the MOT test. On the way there a warning light came on and the engine cut out!
The mechanic said that the key should have a chip in it
well I haven't a clue whether it should or not.......... its a very basic model, no central locking. Does anyone know if this is true or not please?
Also if anyone has any BRILLIANT ideas as to what is the matter with my car, I would be so grateful.
