new flat- electric only

Will be moving into a new flat soon and it is electric only. but how can i do a compare and switch etc when im currently not with anyone?

will be looking at things like money supermarket and quidco but if i dont currently pay anything as im staying at my sisters then how does it work?

    You should take meter readings on the first day, open an account with the existing supplier (deemed contract) not forgetting to ask to be taken off the expensive 'standard' tariff. Then take another meter reading after a month, plug your usage figures into a price comparison site and switch via a cashback site.
