Additional Charges with GTC versus Transco
I am currently with Scottish Power but my gas is piped through Gas Transportation Company Pipes . Scottish Power charge an additional amount for this claiming they incur extra costs . Can anyone tell me of any companies which do not add extra charges for GTC
Thanks

British Gas is one for certain.
I pay 12p per day ie £43 per year,which must be taken into consideration when deciding weather to change suppliers.0 -
Hi
I have IGT and am with British Gas and don't pay any more for IGT (BG only have the one tarriff for all).
It's makes shopping around a bit more difficult as the 'headline' price on most switching sites tend to be non-IGT so you have to dig a but deeper to see if there will be an additional fee to pay as with ScottishPower.
I thought I might as well stay with BG and signed up for Click Energy which has cheaper tarrif but can't sign in yet as BG have 'computer problems' for weeks now.0 -
IGT = Independent Gas Tranporter!0
