advice needed with my gas cooker

hi,
i went to turn on my gas oven, but the gas is very low even on the highest gas mark.
the grill and the hob rings are all fine.
any ideas please.
all my other gas appliances are fine eg the fire and the heating/water etc.

Check to see that the knob/dial is not slipping on the rotor
Other than that it could be the thermocouple/bi metal strip is faulty. this is the part that opens the gas valve so you would need a corgi gas enineer to look at it.
Hopefully one of the corgi people will see this and be along shortly with more detailed advice.0 -

On the top of your oven burner sometimes there is positioned a small tubular metal phial. This senses that a flame is present and then lets the main gas through. It is possible for food to fall onto your burner and block the flame from this phial. What is the make and model of your cooker? Where are you located? If you want to PM me I would be able to advise on the telephone. The approximate cost with a corgi registered fitter would be somewhere in the region of £500
