    Mortgage-free Glee!
Here are a few trick that might help
i found it really useful to allow myself treats for doing so well when I gave up - but i chose a shop 1/4 of a mile away and up a big hill to buy them from - and a walk / scoot / rollerskate past the park for the kids on the way back - and i only allowed myself one at a time
the shopkeeper must have thought i was mad
sounds a bit stupid now i come to write it down I guess - but exercise makes you feel good and counteracts the craving and its easier not to smoke when your doing something..

and i knitted too like quite a few other people have said ...mine was the most horrible misshapen jumper from rubbish bits of wool - didnt matter though - hands busy and the dog had something...erm...interesting? to sleep on for a while

perhapse you could sort out a few going out things and a few staying in things to do in advance to keep your mind off it - even simple things like painting everybodys toenails or watching you tube vids to see how to do a complicated plait then practising it on - each other - dolls - the dog - anything really

    I'm sure you'll manage

I know I can do it but I think the plait idea is great my dd is six soon and would be my guinea pig ds & oh have grade three. I think I'll do a girly day with her ... just go and ask...she wants pink nails, lipstick and now she's looking at the smilies lol, she's up for it I guess... just ask ds (4) if there is anything he wants to do with me he wants me to go in the sea, hold my hand, spin around and dance.... now dd is laughing at him saying he can't have make up as he's a boy..... they've gone off to play princess and friendly T-rex.

    So Monday - Girly day
Tuesday - take them to feed ducks and bake a crumble (HG rhubarb)

I will fill my week but weather permitting on outdoorsy things

Can I ask that it not be moved I will never venture away from the OS board, pretty please!!!

I have joined in on stuff on OS thread and then seen it moved and I never go there.

Sorry, I agree with Pink. We're asked by Martin to keep threads relevant to the board. Old Style is about cooking, crafts and home-making. As there is already a thriving stop-smoking thread on another board, we're asked to keep similar threads together.

    HTH :)

Thanks for the reply and I respect your decision. I would prefer if you locked this instead as I don't venture away from the OS board and I am not in debt so would be very put off by it been relocated there and would not use it.

I thank everyone for the input and wish the others look, but I will not be par-taking in the forum if it moves. I will be quitting and just use my signature instead.

I have been giving some very useful advices and encouragement so once again thank you for all the input

    Kind Regards

    Kelly
