Preparing door frames for painting - stripping paint?

I'm in the middle of stripping paint off of two doorframes
I have used a combination of heatgun, then nitromors in the creases of the arcitrave to remove some of the last bits
it's taking forever. There were many layers of paint
try as I might, there are still some very slight patches of paint here and there
short of going over it with a magnifying glass and a paintbrush with nitromrors, there isn't a lot I can do
my question is, if I sand down everywhere, re-caulk the joins etc... Will my finish be good? Or should I really try to clear off everything?
I have other door frames to do, but I am just going to sand those down
thanks for any advice

you only need to clean them off perfectly if you are going to say stain them with a natural wood color.
if you are repainting say white, then a quick sanding down after burning off, is enough.
i never use chemical strippers indoors. too messy and dangerous. but i love using the heat gun.
ps
my staircase took me over a week.Get some gorm.0 -

Heat gun and nitromors baby0 -
To get into the tricky bits, use an old toothbrush, or wire wool dip it in the nitromores, that will get the last tricky bits off, wear rubber gloves though.0

I would recommend getting one of these:

Very handy and you can usually find one edge/corner of it to fit most uses0
