Expert Advice Needed....

Can anyone help before I call in the very expensive experts? A couple of days ago we noticed that the heating wouldn't switch off even with the thermo switched to zero and the switch off. The only way we could get it to go off was to turn the water off which we normally leave on 24/7. So to get hot water we switched it on and got roasting heating and then turned it off again but now even the hot water isn't working since this morning?? Any suggestions any of you knowledgable people out there??

Sounds like the boiler stat could be gone but MSP or Plumb1 will be able to assist more when they see this post.0

Sounds like a fault with your motorized valve, typicaly a 3way.
But it will need to be tested, other cause could be the programmer

You will only need to replace the Actuator HSA3,cost £35-£50 plus fitting.
If you check your system and try and tell us what parts are fitted, then more info will be available.A thankyou is payment enough .0 -
Thanks... I don't know whats going in my house its only 5 years old but now my oven has gone too... I was cooking saw some sparks at the bottom inside (electric oven) so switched it off and now it doesn't get hot!!! Not called anybody in yet for the heating , water or oven..I'm ok for hot water now as I've remembered I can use the immersion which I've never used before. Will I need a plumber and an electrician? Sorry I'm just completely useless with this type of thing..0
