xbox wireless adapter not picking up wireless router

hi there
my xbox will not pick up our wireless router but will find others near by.
our router is the Zyxel P-660HW-T1 v3. the SSID is been broadcast, our laptop and pc pick this up fine.
i have reset the network connection back to factory settings on the xbox, tried a different channel for the wireless signal on the router, no luck
what could be caulking this , many thanks
