Cheap parking skegness

Taking the inlaws on holiday to skegness, They have never been before.

Tried to arrange a blue badge for them but have now run out of time, Nothing had their proper names & addresses on them.

So now trying to find where the cheapest places to park are, In the past we have parked at the cricket club and paid for all day parking.

Dont think the parking surface was very good back then & not wheelchair friendly, Also not sure how long they will spend in the town or on the front before getting bored or dozing off.

Ideally somewhere you can park all day but pay by the hour without extortionate fee's.

Been to some places and they want more to park for a day than we have paid for our camping pitch.

Looks a long way away on the map but near the park so maybe a gentle stroll through that way might be shorter than it looks.

Is it free unrestricted parking in that area? If you can find a space that is.

Looked on google earth and couldnt see any signs restricting parking.

Thanks for the help, Didnt think anyone would read this.

i think it is restricted to 1 hour no return within 2 hours.
The car park on Ida road is only a couple of minutes walk to the seafront if you go through the park,
come out the carpark, turn right cross over rutland road then there is a gate to tower gardens, just walk through the gardens and you are at the emabassy centre near the beach

if you are only staying for an hour you might as well park on south parade which is right on the sea front ( if you get here early enough to get parked that is)
    hope this helps
have a good day in skeggy

Thanks, I drove down that road & did not see any parking restrictions or along the road by the park.
Except not to park on the verge.

Never any spaces though, Unless after most of the shops have closed.
People must be there at the crack of dawn to park.

£6 a day to park on the front, Only £2 at mablethorpe, Bit of a difference.

    Thanks again.
