which card is best for low credit rating

I want to get a credit card but have 1 default in my credit rating from 2 years ago.

I was rejected by my own bank(RBS) for loan & CC in Jan this year & by barclaycard in Jan this year for a high rate card. I did get HP for a car in Feb this year.

I would really like a card for security but with a low limit on it, who is best to apply to?

Give Capital One a go you may have to pay a deposit to them in order to get a card........

Vanquis also have high rate cards that are easier to get , but i would suggest capitalone too althought the credit limit will be very small if any they will proberly take a £200 deposit from you and give you a 2 or 3 hundred pound limit , hope this helps
