Large foriegn furniture store

Went last night, Mrs Mac wanted to look at desks. Eight O'clock car parks over flowing, tills at least half an hour queue. Didn't get what we wanted, the quality was lacking. Didn't buy what we wanted due to the queue. Why do so many people think it's so great? Beyond me!

The trIcK is to go whEn this Anonimous store is not busy.
I realise that is not possible for everyone, but our local store is never busy first thing in the mornIng on a weeKday, or bEtween 3 And 4 in the afternoon when the mums are on the school run.
As to quality, I guess you get what you pay for.
That gum you like is coming back in style.
  • MY house in Spain is furnished entirely from this store.

Quality is fine given the price, My kitchen table and four chairs were only £49, as was my set of bunk beds.

I agree, go as soon as it opens on a weekday morning. In fact, if you go before the main store opens, you can get a breakfast for about 99p in the restaurant.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

I agree that it is a terrible place - whilst the quality is right for the price (which is exceptionally cheap) I personally would prefer to pay a little more for something better and I dont like their styling much either... a few things get close to where they should be but lack the finishing touches (though this could be a price/ quality thing too)

Large queues and an overflowing car park?
Sounds like a very popular place to me :rotfl:
