Honeymoon in September

My fiance and I are starting to think about our honeymoon in September next year but we really dont have a clue where to go at that time of year. Have read a few websites which seem to give conflicting advice about where will/wont have hurricanes/monsoons at that time of year. We wanted to go to the Maldives but seems that this might be the best idea at that time of year. Basically looking for a gorgeous beach and plenty of sunshine.

Thanks,

Lauren xx

Firstly, best wishes for the wedding next year!

My hubby and I got married last August and we honeymooned in September. We did NYC for 5 days and then 5 days in Miami! It was incredible and failry reasonable even though we went premium economy and stayed at great hotels!

That sounds amazing, that is definately an idea. I am still stuck on the Maldives though, it looks amazing, but keep kearing conflicting reports from people about how rainy it will be then and whether ti would affect our enjoyment of the holiday.

Just replied on your other thread, but I'd say go for the Maldives! It really shouldn't be that bad in September. Failing that, what about Dubai? Would be super hot though so depends what you're like with the heat?

We looked at the Maldives for our honeymoon last year but decided there wasn't enough to go and do if we got bored lounging on the beach, so we plumped for Mexico.

I wouldn't have thought of it to begin with but it's the most amazingly beautiful country. We went end Aug/beginnig Sept and the weather was fine. There was rain and storms (my god were there storms lol) but they're over as soon as they've begun and within half an hour all trace of rain has dried up.

Bali for the culture, Lombok for the beaches... Easy combination, perfect weather.

Have a look at Tugu Lombok, Qunci Villas or the Oberoi if you're feeling plush.

And a few nights in Ubud in Bali in anyone of a zillion amazing hotels...
