Paypal bank funding help please!

I've been trying to set up paypal bank funding and have a received a message saying the 2 small deposits should be in my acount..well, they're not on my online statement. It's been 5 days so I shall leave it another day or so (says 3-5 days) but what do I do if they don't appear in my account? I can't seem to find a link to getting advice on it!
Also, am I right in believeing that the bank funding is the only way that the money I make will go straight into my bank account? Thanks for any help, I am a bit new to this!

The money won't go sraight into your bank account. It will be paid into your paypal account and then you have to transfer it to your bank account which can take up to 7 days. I would leave it another couple of days and see if they appear. They usually take a bit longer than it says.0

When I set up my bank acc in paypal the 2 random amounts that they put in your bank account too about a week to appear on my statement0

Not sure this is correct. The two payments appeared direct in my bank account... surely that's the whole point?My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
When you verify your bank account with paypal, they deposit 2 small amounts into your account and you then have to tell them what these amounts were. This takes 5 - 7 working days to arrive.
After your account is verified and someone pays you by paypal, the money is deposited into your paypal account, the same as if you hadn't verified your bank account. You then can withdraw the money to you bank account. This also takes 5-7 working days.0 -

I was talking about any payments made to your paypal account, not the deposits0
